Father's Day

First Father's Day

Mia woke her Daddy up with big smiles on his first Father's day. For Father's day Mia got Dan some books because she knows Daddy likes to read to her and she likes to be read to. So Dan got "Hop on Pop" by Dr. Suess and "Daddy Kisses". He also got a photo collage for his desk at work. Mia really adores her Daddy. She had a great time watching World Cup Soccer with him and even got to sit all by herself in Daddy's big orange chair.

We spent Father's day afternoon at Mia's Aunt Sheryl's house. Uncle John went fishing with his Dad so it was just Sheryl, Dan, Jamie, Mia, Grandma Bateman and Grandpa Bateman. Sheryl grilled up some bratwurst and sourkraut and made some baked beans. We brought some homemade potato salad.

Grandma and Grandpa Bateman were very happy to see Mia! She is now 7 weeks old and they were in Colorado recently on vacation so they have not seen her for about 2 whole weeks!
