Happy 6 Month Birthday Mia Madeline!!

Our baby girl turned 6 months old already! Hard to believe. The past 6 months have been the hardest thing we have ever done but also the most rewarding. We have the sweetest little gal and she is so fun. More and more we get more interaction and giggles for Mia. Baby giggles are some of the sweetest sounds in the world. It is also so much fun to watch her grow and learn new skills and start to notice the world around her more.

On her 6 month birthday the weather was absolutely beautiful for October. So we tried to take some 6 month photos outside. Well, Mia is quite active lately, she army crawls (mostly backwards), rolls all over the place, picks up anything around her and wants to put every thing in her mouth. So our attempts that day at photos were pretty humerous. But I think they do a good job showing how sweet and adorable she is, and how easily distracted and squirmy she is now.

Here are some other photos from her 6 month birthday as well. The first is of Mia and her "Huggable Bible" from her Godmother. It has become her favorite book. The second 2 show Mia before her bath. We like to have Mia play in her diaper (or diaperless if we are brave) before we bathe her. We have found it is a good transition to the bath. The final photo shows Mia in the BIG bathtub. Well she is 17lbs now and has outgrown the Eurotub. So now she sits in the tub with Daddy as we both sing to her and bathe her, and she plays with her rubber ducks.
