Another week in the life of our sweetie. Mia is 10 weeks now!

Mia is now 10 weeks old. Can' t believe time is flying by. I know I keep saying that, but it truely is.

Slowing things down a bit

After several weeks of being on the go much of the time. We have been spending a lot of time at home the past couple of weeks. Partly because Dad's car broke down and mostly because it was time to slow things down a bit.

Mia and Mom have been going on lots of walks lately. We walked about 10 miles last week! We have also been reading a lot of books lately too. Dad especially has been reading to Mia. Mia is really getting more and more interested in looking at the pictures. She is really starting to smile more and react to facial expressions lately. It is so much fun to see her giggle and smile back at you when you smile. She also has discovered mirrors lately. So she is having fun making faces at herself as well.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

We also like to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Bateman at least once a week. We visted them just last Friday and grilled out. It was a beautiful and relaxing night. Grandma and Grandpa got lots of Mia time the evening all to them selves. And Mia even fell asleep on Grandpa for a bit. It was very sweet.

Meeting more people

Although Mia has met so many people in her short life. She has managed to meet a few new people lately.

She got to hang out with her Mom's friends Hawkins, Tory and Emily and Emily's daughters. We all went to Panera Bread and then back to Mia's house. It was a very nice time and Hawkins and Tory (in from New York) we very glad to meet her.

She also met Mia's Mom's good friend Lisa's daughter Andrea. Mia seemed to adore Andrea and vice versa. They giggled with each other, it was very cute.

Mia's Mom's friend Laura was in town from Colorado recently as well. Pretty sure she was pretty fond of Laura too. She fell asleep on her in a matter of minutes.
