It seems that she is changing and showing her little personality a little more every day. Mia's new skills include batting at object and reaching and grabbing at things. She also wants to stand all the time if you are holding her. Such a silly girl!! Mia loves to smile more and more lately. Its seems that unless she is in a sour mood, if you smile at her she can't help but smile back. It is too cute!! She also is getting really good at blowing bubbles and babbling. Sometimes I really wish I spoke baby!! Can't wait to start the baby sign language with her in a few months.
With all the smiling going on the only thing that seems to put lil Mia in a sour mood is those darn front teeth that trying to start coming in. Can you believe it?!! She started teething before 3
months old!!
Mia is growing and growing. We don't even notice so much because we see her every day. Until we look back at photos from the first couple of weeks. As of Tuesday (today) she now weighs 14lbs and 4 oz!! She is a very healthy little gal.

Mia and Grandma Bateman celebrating Grandma's Birthday
Things we have been up to lately include Mia's first trip to the mall and celebrating Grandma Bateman's Birthday. Grandma Bateman turned 68 last Wednesday and we all went over to Grandma and Grandpa Bateman's house to celebrate. Sheryl and John grilled hamburgers (and a chicken breast for myself) and Dan made Grandma Bateman's favorite pie--Banana Cream! Yum! Grandma got a lot of time to hold Mia and I think that was what she mainly wanted for her birthday.
