The 15 Month Checkup

Miss Mia is now 15 months old. She is a bundle of toddler energy who enjoys duplo legos, swinging in the backyard, climbing on the couch, and playing in her sandbox....among many other things. 

We are also enjoying the adventures of self feeding with her "toddler wear"
spoons and forks.  She does quite well. We just have to load the spoon for her. This lunch was an example of a more adventurous lunch.  She usually eats on a plate well now.  but what you don't see is the plate is on the floor.

Her 15 Month checkup went great. She is now 31 inches (70%), 23 lbs 13oz (65%) and still has a noggin about 85% for her age.  She is way ahead in the mobility department---she now runs and climbs quite well!! She is right on track with vocabulary.  They expect at least 1-2 words by 15 months and 5-10 words by 18 months and she has about 6 words or so.
